LED Surface Down Light Manufacturer in India
Rayna Industries manufactures surface mounted LED downlights at our own facility in Ahmedabad. A surface downlight fixes onto the ceiling instead of inside it — no hole is cut and no space is needed above — so it goes where a recessed fixture cannot.
Our Drum series covers 7W, 18W and 24W with a 120° beam, in diameters from 90mm to 125mm. All three are 65mm deep.
When a surface fixture is the answer
Recessed downlights need a false ceiling and space above it. Where there is neither — a concrete slab, a shop with an exposed roof, an office where the ceiling cannot be opened — a surface fixture gives the same light with nothing more than two screws and a wire.
They are also chosen deliberately in open ceilings, where exposed ducting and services are part of the design and a visible fixture suits the look better than a hidden one.
Drum, cylinder or recessed?
The Drum is a shallow, wide disc with a 120° beam that lights the whole room. A cylinder light is a deeper, narrower body with a tight COB beam that picks out a wall or a display. Both mount on the surface.
Where a false ceiling does exist, a recessed down light will always look neater, because nothing projects into the room.
Build and warranty
LM80 certified LEDs, a BIS approved driver with built-in PFC and up to 4kV surge protection, and a powder-coated aluminium die-cast housing. Colour temperatures 3000K to 6000K, CRI 80 or 90, in black or white. Available in Economy and Premium build, with warranty up to 60 months.
