Smart Switch

Rayna Industries manufactures smart touch switch boards at our own facility in Ahmedabad — from panel design through to the finished product. A smart switch replaces the ordinary switch board in the wall and gives the same circuits three ways to be controlled: the touch panel itself, the Smart Life app, or a voice assistant.

We build two families. The modular smart switch fits the standard modular plate in 1, 2 and 4 switch versions with a fan regulator option. The glass panel smart switch is a single sheet of toughened glass sized to the existing wall box, in 2, 4, 6 and 8 module widths.

Glass panel combinations

The panel is built to the switch box already in the wall, so an existing board can be replaced without breaking any masonry.

Every combination includes one 20A switch and one two-way switch within the total. Plug points are available in 6A or 16A.

The fan position is a four-step regulator, not a simple on-off, and curtain and air-conditioner controls can be built into the same panel.

Before you order — three things to check

A neutral wire is required. Smart switches need continuous power to stay connected, which an ordinary switch does not. Most modern wiring carries a neutral to the switch box; older houses often do not. Ask your electrician to confirm before ordering, because this cannot be worked around after the panel is made.

Wi-Fi must be 2.4GHz. Smart switches connect on 2.4GHz, not 5GHz. Most home routers broadcast both — the phone simply has to be on the 2.4GHz band while the switch is being set up.

Check the wall box size. Panels are made to fit 2, 4, 6 and 8 module boxes. Measure the existing box before choosing a combination.

Does it still work without internet?

Yes. The touch panel is wired directly to the circuit, so every switch works by hand whether or not the router is running. The internet is only needed for the app and for voice control. A power cut or a broken connection never leaves a room without a working switch — which is the first question most buyers ask.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Zigbee?

Wi-Fi suits a home or small office. Each panel connects to the router on its own and can be controlled from anywhere with no extra hardware.

Zigbee suits larger installations — hotels, villas, offices with many boards. The panels form their own mesh through a hub, which keeps the router free and holds the connection over longer distances.

Bluetooth panels pair directly with the phone and work within the room. For control from outside the building they need a gateway, so choose Wi-Fi or Zigbee if remote access matters.

All three run on the Tuya / Smart Life platform, so they are set up in an app most buyers already have and sit alongside any other Tuya device in the same home. Voice control works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Scheduling, scenes and grouping are handled from the app.
