Rayna Make Classic Cylinder Light | Made in India | up to 60 Months Warranty | Surface mounted, no ceiling cut needed | Available in 7W, 12W and 18W | Colour: 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, 6000K
The Classic mounts on the surface of the ceiling instead of inside it. No hole is cut, which makes it the answer for concrete slabs, rented premises and any ceiling that cannot be opened up.
| Watt | Lumens | Diameter (mm) | Height (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7W | 700 – 900 lm | 60 | 55 |
| 12W | 1200 – 1600 lm | 65 | 70 |
| 18W | 1800 – 2400 lm | 80 | 82 |
Lumen output varies with CCT and beam angle.
Recessed downlights need a false ceiling and enough space above it. Where there is neither — a concrete slab, a shop with an exposed roof, a rented office where the ceiling cannot be touched — a surface cylinder gives the same COB light with nothing more than two screws and a wire.
They are also chosen deliberately in open ceilings, where exposed ducting and services are part of the design and a visible fixture suits the look better than a hidden one.
This is the standard model of the cylinder range, and the one most projects end up with. It carries the full 7W to 18W spread, so a single model can cover a whole floor — corridors on 7W, rooms on 12W, and taller or busier areas on 18W — without changing the look of the ceiling.
If the ceiling is high and a longer, slimmer body would look better, take the Royal. If the light needs to be aimed at a wall or a display, take the Royal Cylinder Movable. For everything else, the Classic is the fixture.
Two screws into the ceiling and a live and neutral connection. No cutting, no plenum depth to check, and nothing above the ceiling to plan around. That matters on a running site: cylinders can be added late, or moved, without touching the ceiling finish.
Black, White, Bronze and Grey Black. Black and Grey Black are the usual choice on exposed and dark ceilings, where the fixture is meant to recede.
