The Bottom Opening Clean Room Light is a recessed ceiling fixture designed for pharmaceutical, laboratory and clean manufacturing environments, where the light panel opens and services from below the ceiling rather than from the plenum above. Available in two frame styles — Flag Clamp Type and Skeleton Type — and two sizes to match standard clean room grid layouts.

Lumen output is approximate at 120 lm/W and varies with CCT and CRI selected.

Choosing a Bottom Opening Clean Room Light

Size follows your ceiling grid — 1x1 fits a standard single-tile module at 24W, 2x2 spans a double module at 45W for wider coverage per fixture. Between the two frame types, Flag Clamp uses a clamp mechanism to secure the fixture from below, while Skeleton Type uses an open frame structure; both service and open the same way, so the choice usually comes down to what your ceiling contractor is already set up to install.

Finishes & Build

Regular units come in a powder coated frame, with stainless steel (S.S) frame available on request. Toughened glass and a pressure plate (per clean room norms) are available on request. Screw and screw-less front frame options are both available for this model.
