Top Opening Clean Room Light

The Top Opening Clean Room Light is a recessed ceiling fixture that services and opens from above the ceiling (plenum side), keeping the room-facing surface completely sealed and undisturbed during maintenance — a common requirement in pharmaceutical and controlled manufacturing spaces where the clean room floor shouldn't be accessed for routine servicing.

Lumen output is approximate at 120 lm/W and varies with CCT and CRI selected.

Choosing a Top Opening Clean Room Light

Choose Top Opening over Bottom Opening when the clean room's room-side surface must stay fully sealed and untouched during servicing — maintenance staff access the fixture from the plenum above instead. Size follows the ceiling grid the same way as the Bottom Opening range: 1x1 at 24W for a standard module, 2x2 at 45W for wider coverage per fixture.

Finishes & Build

Regular units come in a powder coated frame, with stainless steel (S.S) frame available on request. Toughened glass and a pressure plate (per clean room norms) are available on request.
