Royal Cylinder Movable — technical dimensions

This is the aimable cylinder. The head tilts and turns on its mount, so one fixture can light a painting, a shelf or a display counter rather than just the floor beneath it.

Lumen output varies with CCT and beam angle.

Where the adjustment earns its cost

Anywhere the thing being lit may move. Shop displays get rearranged, gallery walls get rehung, showroom stock changes every season. A fixed downlight has to be taken off the ceiling and repositioned; this one is aimed by hand in a few seconds.

It is also the practical answer for wall washing on a surface ceiling. Mount a row a foot or so out from the wall, tilt them all to the same angle, and you get an even wash without cutting anything.

Note that this model is wider and heavier than the fixed Royal at every wattage — the movement mechanism needs the room. Where nothing will ever need re-aiming, the fixed model is neater and cheaper.

Finishes

Gun Black, Rose Gold, Bronze and Gun Metal. The metallic finishes are the common choice in showroom and hotel work, where the fixture is meant to be seen.
