Lotus Plus COB Downlight — technical dimensions

The Lotus Plus takes the same ceiling opening as the Lotus and puts a deeper reflector behind it. The cut-outs are identical, so the two are interchangeable on site — but the Plus buries the light source further back.

Lumen output varies with CCT and beam angle.

Lotus or Lotus Plus?

The opening in the ceiling is the same for both. The only question is how much room there is above it. The Lotus needs 43mm to 54mm; the Plus needs 61mm to 80mm — roughly 25mm more at every wattage.

Where that space exists, take the Plus. The deeper reflector means a person standing under the fixture sees almost nothing of the light source. That matters most in hotel rooms, in reception areas, and anywhere a long ceiling run is visible end to end, where even a slight glint repeated across twenty fixtures becomes obvious.

Where the plenum is tight, the Lotus gives most of the same effect in a shorter body. Both take the same cut-out, so the decision can be made after the ceiling is marked.
