Pullout COB Downlight — technical dimensions

The Pullout comes out of the ceiling before it aims. The head sits back inside the housing when not in use, then draws down and rotates, so it can reach a wall or a display that a fixed downlight would never cover.

Lumen output varies with CCT and beam angle. The dual versions take a rectangular cut-out.

Single or dual?

The single head suits a run of accent lights down a corridor or over a counter. The dual puts two independently aimed heads in one opening, which is what a gallery wall or a long display shelf usually needs — one head on each end of the run, from a single point in the ceiling.

The dual also halves the number of holes in the ceiling for the same amount of light. On a plain ceiling that matters visually; on a busy one it matters practically, because there is less to work around.

Plan the depth before ordering

This is the deepest fixture in our range. The 7W needs 98mm of clearance above the ceiling and the 18W needs 122mm — considerably more than an ordinary COB downlight. Confirm the plenum depth before the ceiling is marked, because the mechanism cannot be shortened.

Where the ceiling is shallow but the light still needs aiming, the Movable COB tilts inside the housing and needs only 40mm to 75mm. It cannot reach as far, but it fits where the Pullout will not.

Beam angles

Available in 15° and 24° only. Both are narrow, and deliberately so — a fixture that is aimed at something specific needs a tight beam. For general room lighting, use a fixed COB downlight instead.
