Regal COB Downlight — technical dimensions

The Regal shares the Lotus cut-outs but uses a hammered, textured reflector instead of a smooth one. The texture breaks up the reflected light, so the inside of the fixture never shows a single bright ring.

Lumen output varies with CCT and beam angle.

Choosing a Regal

The reflector is the whole point. A smooth reflector produces a clean, hard edge to the beam; a textured one softens that edge and spreads a little light onto the surrounding surface. In a showroom or a lobby, that softer transition usually looks better than a sharp circle of light on the floor.

Dimensionally it sits between the Lotus and the Lotus Plus — 63mm to 86mm tall against 43mm and 80mm. All three take the same cut-out, which means the ceiling can be marked before the fixture is finally chosen.

Pick the Regal for soft, wide-feeling light; the Lotus Plus for maximum glare control; the Lotus where the ceiling is shallow.

Finishes

Black, White, Bronze and Grey Black. Bronze is the common choice in hotel and showroom work, where the visible rim is part of the ceiling design.
